Kamran Kenerly, a member of the class of 2025, was often perceived as quiet in his early days at the YMLA. He says it took him a while to get comfortable but when he did you could gradually start to see his personality and humor, unassuming student. However, beneath his reserved exterior lay a vibrant personality waiting to be discovered. Those who had the privilege of getting to know him beyond the surface were rewarded with a witty, engaging companion.
Our first encounter in the third grade left a lasting impression. Initially, I mistook his quiet demeanor for a lack of humor, assuming he was the class clown. But as our friendship blossomed, I discovered a completely different side of him. Kamran was a genuinely cool person to hang out with, possessing a unique blend of intelligence, humor, and sportsmanship.
Growing up, Kamran had great athletic skills, excelling in both soccer and football. His passion for sports not only kept him physically active but also fostered a competitive spirit and a strong work ethic. Despite facing personal challenges, Kamran remained dedicated to his education, demonstrating a serious and focused approach to learning.
With a clear vision for his future, Kamran expressed his desire to attend Tarleton State University and major in finance. His goal was to leverage his education to start his own business, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and ambition. Beyond academics, Kamran found fulfillment in physical fitness.
