Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Morgan grew up surrounded by familiar faces, familiar streets, and a community that always felt like home. Life in Dallas was comfortable, he knew the people, the way of the city, and how everything worked. But when his family moved to Fort Worth, things changed for him. It was only about 40 minutes away, but to Morgan it felt like a new world. The personalities and the environment were different. It took time to adjust but Morgan slowly began to see the move not as a setback, but as a chance to grow, meet new people, and learn from new experiences.
One thing that has always guided Morgan through change is his passion for helping and caring for others. Whether it’s being there for a teammate after a tough game or encouraging a friend through a hard time. He’s someone who values kindness and connection. “I just like making people feel cared for,” he says. That mindset has shaped the way he approaches life, putting people first, being compassionate, and always trying to leave a positive impact wherever he goes.
Outside of school, Morgan is deeply involved in two things he loves most, soccer and art. He’s been playing soccer for years and currently plays with his club team, Solar FC. The game has taught him discipline, teamwork, and how to stay focused even when things get tough. One of his proudest moments came when his former club team won the Classic League, a huge milestone that represented not just a trophy, but all the hours of hard work, practice, and determination it took to get there. When he’s not on the field, Morgan enjoys doing art it’s another way he expresses himself and it clears his mind.

In school, his favorite subject is English. Morgan enjoys it because it gives him space to be creative and speak his mind. “I like how I can freely express myself,” he says. Writing and reading allow him to explore new ideas and emotions without judgment, something that keeps him interested and motivated.
But school hasn’t always been easy for Morgan. One of the biggest challenges he’s faced is learning how to advocate for himself. For a long time, he struggled to speak up or ask for help when he needed it. Over time, he began building stronger relationships with his teachers, which helped him gain confidence. Slowly, he learned to use his voice, realizing that communicating openly could make a big difference in both his academics and personal growth.
A teacher who made a lasting impression on him is Mr. Prince, his Algebra 2 teacher. Morgan describes him as more than just a teacher, someone who taught life lessons beyond the classroom. “He taught me how to be a young man,” Morgan says. Mr. Prince’s influence helped him mature, handle responsibility, and understand what it means to lead by example.
When things get difficult, Morgan stays motivated by remembering his goals. “In the end, a good grade will be all worth it,” he says. That simple mindset keeps him grounded through stressful weeks of tests and assignments.
His favorite high school memory so far is making the soccer team as a freshman. That moment was a turning point, it helped him meet new people, form friendships, and become part of something bigger than himself. “It opened me up to new friend groups and built lifelong relationships,” he recalls.
Morgan describes his school’s culture as a brotherhood. Everyone looks out for each other, holds one another accountable, and works to represent their school well. He believes that sense of unity is what makes his school community special.
Looking ahead, Morgan plans to attend college. He wants to further his education because he believes that education is a powerful tool something that can open doors and create opportunities for the future.
When asked what advice he’d give to incoming freshmen, Morgan says, “Enjoy it while you can it really does go by fast. Make good impressions with teachers and organizations because those relationships will help you in the long run.”
From adjusting to a new city to finding his voice and chasing his dreams, Morgan’s journey is one of growth and perseverance. He’s a young man with compassion, drive, and a strong sense of purpose ready to keep learning, keep caring, and keep moving forward.
