Jesus Martinez is a very interesting scholar as he has a very interesting hobby which is somewhat close to some other scholars at the YMLA, this hobby is having a close bond with animals, such as horses, but he likes to visit the Lone Star Track. Back then Jesus used to be at any race track that pops up during the day, but does go almost every weekend. This scholar has travelled outside of the United States, mainly Coahuila, Mexico, to visit his family and his goal at the moment is to get enough money and go visit his aunts in Playa. Jesus has been in many places throughout his life, he originally grew up as a baby in Laredo, Texas, and then moved to San Antonio, Texas, for 4 years, then finally made it to Fort Worth, Texas.
This Senior is also a very entertaining person and has good taste in food such as; he would like to eat fries with almost anything, but the way he makes them is delicious. Especially when he has nachos, he would put fries on top with cheese and some meat on top. Another food that Jesus likes is his Mom’s tacos.
Jesus Martinez wants to go to a college or university that waves the most money at him. Jesus wants to major in ranching and Culinary Arts. This scholar would rather take a truck over a car to work even when he runs late. He also likes to listen to music a lot, and a song he likes to listen to is “El Comante.” His favorite car or truck is a Toyota Hilux.
Throughout his entire Middle school and High School life he had some friends that he wished were to stay at the YMLA. “If you’re behind in a class try to re-do assignments they let you retake and if some teachers offer extra credit take the chance. His role in the journalism team is Writer, Publisher, and the Head of the Podcast team. Jesus Martinez is very similar to Ellington Hokeman, He said “you should stay if the school helps with the career you choose, then stay till your sophomore year,” but both scholars are very successful and have a good plan on their goals. His favorite dream team staff is Ms. Newsom and Mr. Scott. His advice to the freshman is to keep on task, don’t slack, and pay attention to the highschool classes some 8th graders take.
