Our fellow brother, Christian Pena. He’s a 17 year old senior at YMLA. He is the second one out of the family to attend this school. He was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and is going to attend college and plans on majoring in automotive mechanics for 2 years. His love for cars all started when he was 12 years old, when his mom owned a red Japanese classic, A Nissan 240sx, and his cousin owned a silver Mitsubishi. After college Chris would want to own a Nissan s15 and make it his own style.
Christian was always that one quiet kid in class but once he would get comfortable and he would get to talk to you more. He looked up to Jose Carmona, a former graduate from YMLA. “He has a clean red mustang,” Says chris. That’s when he started his love for muscle cars rather than Japanese cars. He wishes YMLA offered a mechanic class to have more information about engines.
Besides wanting to become a mechanic and photographer, Chris also played soccer when he was 10. It was his favourite hobby and he always enjoyed being outdoors. He would always go outside and play with his brother and sister. Besides being outdoors he also likes spending time with his dad detailing cars. He likes spending time with his family and goes to Mexico to visit the rest of his family. “It’s like a whole different world over there in mexico, it’s so peaceful and calm, the outdoors is beautiful and everyone is very polite” Chris always enjoyed being with his friends too, always laughing and joking around with everyone in his circle of friends. He’s always made sure all his friends were good when needed, he’s always in a good spirit and doesn’t bother anyone. Also from going outside and learning new things, he’s also an inside chill guy. Chris is very interested in video games and currently owns 2 Xboxes, A colorful PC. He’s learning how to build PCs and learn to program them
All in all, Chris is a good person and makes a good friend to be around with and likes to hang around with his friends. he’s a fun person to be around with and he gets that inspiration from his older brother.
