Ethan’s Twisted Tale

Ethan James Richey for those who don’t know him and I think that goes for most: is a senior in the class of 2024. For those who do know him you’d know him as a quiet, and reserved math nerd, but wouldn’t you want to know more about him I know I sure do so why don’t dive into Ethan’s life.

Ethan is a highly skilled Rocket League player; Rocket League is a video game where you drive around a car and play soccer at the same time. I know this game sounds easy and you’re saying to yourself I can be good at that. Trust me you’re wrong this game is extremely hard to grasp and it takes years and thousands of hours to master. Ethan says he’s not at a pro level player yet, but from some of the gameplay I’ve seen I would say otherwise. 

Another, something most don’t know is that Ethan is a HUGE NBA stat guy. Ethan watches all of the games and takes in all the information just so he can debate over who is the best at whatever category. Ethan is very organized and he knows his stuff. If you ever see him you can strike up a conversation over the NBA by the way his favorite team is the Lakers and the player is LeBron.

Ethan’s other hobbies include listening to tons of music “I listened to 4,000 minutes of songs last week” he said to me during our interview; in case you didn’t know there is only about 6,000 minutes in a week. This dude deserves a spot in a Spotify Hall of Fame. Ethan listens to all kinds of music. “I listen to everything except for Country.” In my opinion Ethan is uncultured and should listen to some Country music, but nonetheless, Ethan’s most listened to genres include Rap, Hip Hop, and Pop with the occasional Liv and Maddie Theme song.

Also, fun fact Ethan has a “Top 5 Legends Chart” can you guess what these people have in common? 1st. Steve Erwin, 2nd. (Pre-2017) Eminem, 3rd. Chester Bennington (Linkinpark), 4th. Billie Eilish, 5th. (White) Michael Jackson, and he has an Honorable Mention. (White Chocolate) Jason Williams.
